Second Annual Can You Dig It, Charlotte Community Garden Tour

The Mecklenburg County Fruit & Vegetable Coalition invites you to join us for our second annual Can You Dig It, Charlotte Community Garden Tour!

Date: May 5, 2012

Time: Self-Guided Garden Tour 9:00AM – 12:00PM
Garden Gathering 12:00PM – 1:00PM

Price: This years event will be FREE! However, we are requesting donations of garden supplies, which will be collected at both the start and end of the tour. Suggestions include; gardening gloves, shovels, seeds, etc

Learn: Basic gardening, composting, seed saving, starting a community garden, and success stories from gardeners.

Eat: There will be a food truck gathering at the Garden Gathering at Winterfield Gardens where you can purchase food or you can bring your own lunch!

Mission: Educate the public on community gardening efforts, share information with other gardens and network with interested community members.
